We always have something to do at Grey Duck Garlic. Right now we are working on several projects. One of the secrets to a successful business is to take things slow and make improvements as you can. Too often people rush in and grow too quickly which can be unsustainable.

Currently we are working on two large projects, the garlic drying barn and the garlic breeding program. Jane has designed the new garlic drying barn so it will complement our lovely old barn. She has incorporated recycled and found objects to minimize its construction footprint. In addition, she is planning landscaping to accentuate the building. Susan is the garlic improvement czar. Her quest for the biggest and best garlic has led to crazy things like weighing all planting cloves. In spite of this, people haven't started throwing things at her when she enters the garlic field.
